Who are we?
The China Luxury Travel Network (CLTN) is a by-invitation-only alliance of premium hotels, specialized travel operators, and unique experience providers in China. With on-the-ground expertise and longstanding partnerships with hotel suppliers, travel operators, special event venues, activity planners, and transportation suppliers, CLTN consolidates the very best in hospitality and destination management services throughout the country, providing a one-stop-shop for luxury travel services in China.
What do we provide?
CLTN creates freshly designed travel packages, and arranges tailor-made special interests travel, high-end hospitality/special venue services which registered agents can sell at a high commission.
Which agents can join CLTN? How?
Any agents already including or looking to include inbound China travel packages can join our network. Upon receiving an invitation, agents are provided with a login username and password, giving access to our online platform’s hotel and tour-booking system. Alternatively, agents can request to join our network by applying on our website. Once our agent services team approves your request, we will provide you with all the necessary information.
How do we screen our suppliers?
CLTN suppliers include eligible properties, tour operators, transportation suppliers and activity providers in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau. Member selection is based on a rigorous assessment of suppliers’ ability to fulfill a set of criteria developed by CLTN. These are divided into a specific set of categories which include, but are not limited to the following:
-Facilities
-Service
-Communication
-Cooperation
-Pricing value
In addition, CLTN utilizes a unique training and benchmark system to track member progress in delivering efficient and high-quality service.
CLTN members are therefore guaranteed for their dedication to quality, reliability, uniqueness of service, providing services and special activities across a wide variety of destinations within China.
Do I need to maintain contact with all suppliers?
CLTN travel products do not require that an agent contacts suppliers directly. Every booking process, tour execution and/or hotel stay are carefully coordinated and administered by an account manager from beginning to end. We are therefore able to meet special requests and communicate feedback in real time during a tour and/or hotel stay.
How do we provide a better price margin?
By communicating directly with tour operators and destination management companies, CLTN is able to coordinate all aspects of a tour’s operation, thus eliminating an extra step in the supply chain. Costs are therefore more value-based than the competition.
What about commissionable rates?
For both hotel and tour booking, the average agent commission ranges from 10%, and up to 20%.
How do we redefine luxury travel in China?
Our team at CLTN pays special attention to the growing demand for personalized travel experiences with small or large groups, as well as diverse and localized travel themes. CLTN’s travel packages therefore include a wide variety of themes and destinations.
We understand that high-end travel doesn’t simply cover luxurious hotels and resorts, or premium modes of transportation. CLTN travel experiences take luxury a step further by paying extra attention to clients’ special needs for the entire experience, and by adding special touches such as:
-hiring local academic experts as guides
-introducing travelers to hidden gems untouched by other travel operators
-creating novel travel experiences such as retracing certain segments of the Long March, or providing firsthand assistance in restoring the Giant Panda population in Sichuan Province.
-Giving back to the community by volunteering with NGOs.
Can I sell CLTN products under my own brand?

Do we provide customized tour packages?
Yes, we can create custom travel itineraries for any number of people. If you cannot find what you are looking for, we are happy to expand on our list of destinations and travel activities. You can either make an open tour RFP at the tour product listing page or email us directly at info@cltn.net .
What if I don’t want to use the online platform?
CLTN is also happy to follow up and broker transactions via email and phone when arranging for a travel itinerary and/or hotel booking. You can always email us your inquiry directly at info@cltn.net.
Is CLTN an OTA?
CLTN is not only an OTA. Whereas OTAs arrange bookings by brokering the transaction between supplier and agent, CLTN maintains direct involvement with every aspect of the itinerary and hotel stay by monitoring tour progress, providing immediate feedback, and ensuring timely adjustments following the clients’ requests. We therefore stay on top of every step and involved member of our travel packages.
In addition, our online RFP and reservation system is specifically designed to enable agents to monitor tour progress and track RFP deals in a user-friendly manner.
